Stanaperls Revue Company

The Stanaperls was a revue company which put on small shows at many venues around Worthing. This included private venues such as Gifford House and Swandean Hospital. In addition they staged annual revue shows for the public.

The earliest record so far located is the 1967 August Bank Holiday carnival - where a float was entered in the carnival procession under the Stanaperls name.

Very few records survive of the shows themselves. It is believed there were annual revue shows every year from 1968 to 1973. There were two revues in 1968 (March and July); it is not known whether there was a Summer revue in 1967.  If you have any information relating to Stanaperls, please mail me a copy (see email link at top of page).

Do you have programmes for the 1968 or 1969 Revues? Please let us know.
