Christabel and Constance Ambrose School of Dancing, Redhill

Pearl Hood was enrolled at the Ambrose School of Dancing in Redhill at the age of 4 (1918) to help strengthen her weak ankles.  Pearl was one of the first pupils of "The Misses Ambrose" and had her first lesson in their back room. The newspaper clippings on this page cover the period 1920 to 1926.
